4 Step Black Tap Inspired S’more Milkshake Recipe
As we begin to enter one of the last months of summer – lets take full advantage of it. You don’t have to escape the city limits to make this 4 Step Black Tap Inspired S’more Milkshake Recipe. But it’s guaranteed to take you back to the sweet scent of pine and millions of stars hanging overhead. And who doesn’t want that?
The irony is that Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer is actually found in the bustling city of New York. Even though I just came back home from my honeymoon, we didn’t happen to make it by. The city is so overwhelmingly wonderful – from the non-stop noise to the barrage of colors and delicious smells of every kind of international food you could ever want. But whether you’re enjoying them at home amidst the constant rumble of the city or in the woods, I don’t think anyone would disagree that in the United States they’re definitely a summer staple. I also am a HUGE fan of the s’more milkshake that Dairy Queen premiered last summer. It was something I enjoyed after a long day at my internship quite frequently. So I tried my very best to combine all these elements. I know there are tons of s’more recipes, but it’s actually really easy to make this 4 Step Black Tap Inspired S’more Milkshake!

Step 1 – Roasting S’mores
Start by preparing the S’mores so this party is taken care of. I chose to roast two full size marshmallows and also tons of smaller ones on two separate skewers.
Once you’re roasting them – set the smaller roasted marshmallows to the side and make a s’more just like you typically would in the most original preparation tactic. There are a lot of s’more variations, but I tend to stick to plain graham crackers and Hershey’s chocolate.
Step 2 – Making the S’more Milkshake Base
Now you’re going to make the actual milkshake base! Begin by breaking apart 6 graham cracker halves (3 full crackers) and pulse them in ninja or food processor until crushed. This part only takes about 10 seconds.
After removing a spoonful or two for later use combine 1 cup of vanilla chocolate chip ice cream, 1/3 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of pulsed graham crackers, 1/4 cup of jet puff marshmallow into ninja & blend until they have a smooth consistency. This should only take about a minute at most.
Step 3 – Decorating the Cup
This is probably the funnest and messiest part! If you have kids (depending on their ages) this would be a great dessert to have them help prepare if you aren’t afraid of picking up the kitchen afterwards. Begin by lining the rim with jet puff marshmallow. I used a combination of a spoon and knife.
Once you’ve coated the top, feel free to drag it down to make jet puff icicles.
Next, add broken up mini Hershey bars, sprinkle with graham cracker dust that is leftover.
Then make an ‘x’ on the inside of the cup with Hershey’s Syrup.
Step 4 – Assembling the Cup
Begin by placing the 4 Step Black Tap Inspired Milkshake blend in your cup. Add a fun straw and your roasted mini marshmallow skewer. Next you’re going to build a base out of jet puff by putting a thick layer across the top of the glass.
Place your s’more on top.
Use the remaining jet puff to attach additional marshmallows and douse it in a solid amount of Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup.
Finally – enjoy this 4 Step Black Tap Inspired S’more Milkshake Recipe! What’s one of your favorite summer dessert recipes to make? Some of mine would definitely be these Mini Chocolate Cream Pies!
