Easy Moist Banana Bread Recipe
It’s starting to officially be autumn. I know that in all technicalities fall is supposed to happen later this month. I also can attest to purchasing a pumpkin shaped hand soap well before this month. So I guess it really just depends on the person. But I’m declaring that it’s fall and that means it’s time for fall recipes. One of my favorite things that mom used to cook growing up was this moist banana bread.
Granted, banana nut cake is not for everyone, but it is pretty delicious. It’s the perfect recipe to fall back on when the weather starts to get colder. I enjoy it most in the morning with some coffee but to each their own. My favorite part about this moist banana bread recipe is that it’s not difficult. Even back when I couldn’t cook anything, this recipe was fool proof. It also helps eliminate food waste if you have any banana eaters in the home (i.e. my husband). So without further ado, this is how to easily make moist banana bread through the recipe below.

Begin by creaming the butter and sugar together. This is essentially just making sure they are adequately mixed together and you can do it by hand or with a stand mixer. You’re looking for a light and fluffy mixture near the end.
Be sure to use butter that is room temperature and chunk it up before mixing either way. Next you’ll add the eggs. After this add the bananas that you have that are mashed into the mix.
The best bananas are a little old and have been frozen until they are thawed so you can use them. You’ll then be dropping in the chopped nuts, buttermilk and vanilla.
In a separate bowl sift flour, soda and salt together. You can do this in a variety of ways, I just used a whisk to combine all my dry ingredients until they were well mixed.
Turn your mixer on low and gradually mix the combined dry ingredients in with the other bowl of ingredients. Mix this mixture for moist banana bread well.
Grease and flour a loaf pan and pour the batter inside. Finally, bake the batter at 325 degrees until done.
Next you’ll just be enjoying your moist banana bread recipe!
This really is quite the staple to keep around your house regardless of the season. But it’s even better when you enjoy it once you’re celebrating fall.
